Martin Luther King Jr. Day Community Tree Care

Join Casey Trees and FoAP during Martin Luther King Jr. weekend for a fun day of service around the Anacostia Skate Park!

Projects include care for newly planted trees alongside other organizations who will be conducting various clean up and service activities around the park. Your help with weeding, mulching and watering these vulnerable trees will give them a leg up in becoming an important part of our growing tree canopy.

Work will be completed in groups after a short, hands-on training. All the necessary tools and supplies are provided.

Register here now! The day before this event volunteers will be emailed logistics and directions to get to the site.
